Half Marathon

We ran the Coban International Half Marathon two weekends ago. It wasn't pretty, but the goal was to finish, and we're just happy to be done with the training schedule. Notwithstanding the altitude, it's a difficult half marathon because the majority of the course is hills.

So happy it's over

How about some detail here. We all have many questions. Just how ugly was it? Where is the mile by mile journal of personal triumph, the thrill of victory, and the pain of dafeet? Why only two pictures of questionable authenticity? Did those smiles come from a lesson plan on morphing? Did you run the whole event hand-in-hand? Are your typing fingers still recovering from Rebecca's steel like grip and the trauma of the race? Please put those decrepit digits to the keyboard and give us some more info.

V,

You know it's not the best idea to run a 1/2 marathon in the shirt you wore to the club the night before... esp. when it's black and will heat you up like an oven. And is that a fanny pack I see around your waist??? Did it have a flask inside to heal the pain during your run?

Regardless, congrats on finishing - that's AWESOME man!!!! Glad to hear you guys had fun. You need to keep running so you guys can do one in Chicago in late august with all of us up here. We'll see how that 1:37 time holds up... :)

One of the great challenges to the modern day photoshopper is the vast expanse of online information available at one's fingertip if one only knows where to look...

Great job! You guys beat our flat Indy course photoshopped time of 1:50:31!

And to think, you used to hate all blogs and blogging tools!!! (never miss an opportunity to remind Jeff of this for the rest of his life.)
